Police Communication and Information Technology Dhule District:

• The Police Communication and Information Technology Department is the most important technical department in the District Police Force. It is the overall responsibility of this department to ensure that uninterrupted communication in the district is well maintained and law and order is maintained round the clock. In order to keep the non-stop communication in the district of this division functioning at full capacity, the high hills / towers of the district are used to provide re-launch gates at Chadwell / Sakri / Shirpur / Dhule City.

• Polnet stations also receive / broadcast non-English language messages related to important / VVIP visits / court testimony / law and order across Maharashtra. At the same time, confidential and important messages are transmitted / received by the other cells. Communication is established with the senior office through video conferencing doors. Communication is well established with all non-stationary stationary / non-stationary stations in the control room.

• During the visit of a person of high importance, the department undertakes the work of setting up / allocating DFMD & HHMD by making arrangements, distributing walkie-talkies to the designated officers and officials of the department and issuing call sign to them.

• The most important work is done by this department, such as locating the shadow area in the remote areas of the district, installing additional repeaters in that place and establishing seamless communication.
