The Dog Squad is an integral part of special units in law enforcement, military, and paramilitary organizations worldwide.
These squads comprise highly trained dogs and their handlers who work together to perform specialized tasks.
Dhule Police having one Dog Squad unit with 3 dogs, which are highly trained in detection of Explosives / Crime.
Sam (Explosive Detection Dog)
He is trained to detect a wide variety of specific odors, such as explosives, humans and even fruits and vegetables.
Jay (Crime Detection Dog)
He is trained to use its senses to detect substances such as, wildlife scat, currency, blood, and contraband electronics such as illicit mobile phones.
Veer (Narcotics Detection Dog)
He is trained to detect various illicit substances. Through his training, he learn to recognize the latest narcotics odors in the marketplace and respond appropriately when confronted with those scents in real-life situations.
